Ardfert Youth club caters for young people of post primary school age. The club is based in the community centre where members can chill out and unwind after a week at school or take part in a variety of activities including pool, basketball, unihoc, soccer, games, make up workshops, dancing etc. We also travel to do activities such as discos, aquadome, bowling, adventure activities and more. The club is a safe space where the members can come forward with ideas for activities and the volunteers will try to facilitate as much as possible.
Goals
Create positive relationships with their peers and the leaders in the club.
To offer young people a safe space in their local community to come together.
To give young people a sense of belonging in their community.
By being part of a club young people may grow in confidence.
Check out our facebook page for details of registration. We prioritise spaces for young people from the community but extend beyond the parish if we have sufficient spaces available.
