Sports Capital Grant Scheme 2022
Ardfert Community Council are delighted with the announcement today of an allocation of €130,000 towards the next phase of development in Ardfert Recreation Centre under the Sports Capital Grant Scheme. This grant will allow us to progress with the athletics area which will include a sprint track, long jump pit and high jump area.
This is an exciting addition to the facilities already developed in an Fearann and will no doubt inspire many local athletes to chase their sporting dreams and follow in the footsteps of the many successful athletes who have represented Ardfert/Kilmoyley, Kerry and Ireland in Athletics in the past.
