See the calendar attached to each option for booking times, please ring the number provided to secure a booking.

RULES 2022
Please read fully as you will be asked to confirm.

To ensure the smooth running of the facility and maintain the quality for every user we request that your club/group adhere to some necessary rules and guidelines and that you communicate this to your players and users.

  1. Group leaders are responsible for the conduct of his/her members/players and must ensure proper use of the facility by the group.
  2. All groups using the facility should stay within the booked area only, this always applies and to all persons connected to the booking.
  3. Good behaviour is required from each group before, during & after use of the facility. Players must always treat staff and fellow users with courtesy and respect. Half pitch users must stay within their own half.
  4. Groups must recognise that other groups use the facilities. Please vacate the premises as soon as your time is up to allow other groups onto the facility.  Abuse of those areas violates the rights of the users.
  5. Physical intimidation or violence towards club staff/employees or fellow users is entirely unacceptable.
  6. Players will not intentionally damage the grass pitch in any way.
  7. No form of vehicle, bicycle, roller skates etc. is allowed on the grass pitch.
  8. No jewellery to be worn.
  9. No climbing on fence, walls or gates. Please ensure all spectators/parents/guardians are also aware of this.
  10. Players are strictly prohibited from attempting to open or adjust or in any way electrical boxes, lights or wiring.
  11. It is the responsibility of group leaders and players to ensure that they are equipped with suitable footwear for playing on the pitch.
  12. Water may only be brought onto the pitch in personal re-usuable sports water bottles. Plastic bottles are being left behind continuously. Please leave by the spectator area when not needed. PLEASE NOTIFY ALL YOUR MEMBERS.
  13. No smoking on or near the pitch.
  14. No dogs on the pitch area at any time.

Please observe and follow all posted signs and adhere to social distancing and all general Covid guidelines. Groups are responsible for supplying their own hand sanitizer and should appoint a Covid Officer prior to using the facility.

It may be the case that a team is finishing up. You may enter the field sticking to the side-lines until your time to start is reached.  There is plenty of room to the right-hand side of the pitch in the spectator area where you can wait your turn

Please leave the field of play as soon your time is up.  You may use the spectator area beside the field (to the right as you enter) to gather your gear and prepare to exit.

Please take all your litter, bottles, gear and everything with you

  1. The pitch can be damaged – please be sensible.
  2. Water should only be brought onto the pitch in personal water bottles.
  3. Upon entry to the facility you will note that some of the area is still a site under construction so please act accordingly and stick to the booked areas only.
  4. Please drive and park responsibly. There may be young children around – take care
  5. Please don’t climb on fences, walls or gates or allow any of your group to do so.

  1. Ardfert Community Council cannot be held liable for the loss or damage of valuables during the use of the AstroTurf or during the time prior or after the use of the AstroTurf including damage to vehicles parked at the facility.
  2. It is strictly forbidden to sub-let the facility.
  3. ANY PLAYER PARTICIPATES AT THEIR OWN RISK AND IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH PLAYER TO ARRANGE EITHER THEIR OWN INSURANCE COVER OR A TEAM INSURANCE COVER THAT WILL COVER THEM FOR INJURY.
  4. ARDFERT COMMUNITY COUNCIL HOLD PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE ONLY AND TAKE NO RESPONSIBILTY FOR ANY INJURY SUSTAINED WHILST PLAYING IN THE PITCHES.
